A current member of the Piano Technicians Guild of America “PTG.” He has tuned pianos for many of the greats, including Jazz Giants, McCoy Tyner and Chick Corea, Song writing legend Burt Bacharach, and was asked to tune John Lennon’s “Imagine” piano, a Steinway piano that is valued at over three million dollars. Songwriting
Eric Scortia is an experienced songwriter and a voting member of the recording academy, “The Grammys.” He studied movie scoring with Hollywood song writing veteran Alan Oldfield, and continues to work with many top professionals in the music industry. Scorch has assembled a songwriting team with many years of professional experience in all styles of music, including rock, pop, jazz, blues, film, television. documentary, video game music and custom music production. Production Services
Eric Scortia has worked with many great record producers and engineers over the course of his career. Scorch has recorded on Columbia Records with producer Terry Manning who worked on many of ZZ-Tops biggest records. Scorch did recording session work at Capital Studios in Hollywood for producer Mike Fondelli who worked with many legendary bands including Led Zeppelin and also mixing Oasis Wonderwall. Scorch has co-produced two records with Grammy winning Jazz producer Dave Love along with Grammy winning engineer Martin Walters on CDs-A Night On The Town and Vital Organ. Scorch recently worked on the new Odyssey CD with well know engineer Paul Osborne and engineer Bradley Prakope. Scorch brings all his experience to the table and will produce a great project for you.
