The piano is one of the most iconic and beautiful-sounding instruments of all time. However, it’s also a precision instrument that needs regular tuning and maintenance. If your piano in Dallas, TX, sounds a little off, reach out to me and I’ll be happy to help. I’ll make sure your piano quickly gets back to providing the sweet melodies it’s meant to.
How Do Pianos Get Out of Tune?
First, you need to know that more than 200 strings make up the body of the piano, and these strings are constantly under hundreds of pounds of pressure. This construction is amazing, but it’s also sensitive to movement, humidity, temperature, and other changes in the environment. These factors can adversely affect the pin block, bridge, and other internal components.
Because the strings have to be perfectly tuned in order for each note to sound right, you can normally notice when something has affected the tuning of your piano. Even when a piano is in the best environment, it will still need tuning every six to twelve months.
Why Should You Hire Me to Tune Your Piano?
