The Odyssey
Mixing and mastering session of the Odyssey Rock Organ trio. This Organ group features all original music composed and co-written by Eric Scortia and his long-time friend and sensational blues-rock guitarist and singer Lance Lopez. It is a Rockin mix of classic rock and blues, reminiscent of the great concept albums from the 1970s. Along with the core trio featuring Eric Scortia on organ and vocals, Lance Lopez on guitar and vocals, and Alan Green on drums, there are also horns featuring ex-Paul McCartney trumpet man Steve Howard, and Ron Jones on Tenor and Baritone saxophone. Also Jay Z’s side man Creg J also helps out on the background vocals. This CD will be out of this world and put the listener in an interstellar musical orbit. The Groove Machine
The Grove machine is a music project tat brings together the creative forces of Eric Scortia on is vintage 1959 Hammond B-3 Organ, Joel Cross on Guitar, Quamon Fower on Tenor sax and Alan Green playing drums and percussion. All the songs are original compositions with long grooves over which the soloists have ample room for heavy creative improvisational exploration. The project as overtones of the music of Tony Williams Lifetime that featured John McLaughlin, Larry Young. Also completely reinventing things by adding that Texas shuffle to the mix.
